G5 Specs Released...

These are not from me. They are from Spymac. I know, they are silly specs and considering the source, most likely amount to nothing more than a metric *****load. But I love G5 rumors and this one's entertaining. Especially the last thing on the list. I added the drumroll for suspense.

Wish there was a G5 bot that would destroy anyone that posted the sequence of letters that started with a G and then a 5!

Someone got some weird info. The DDR spec seems logical(not the 333, but 266) . But, y would Apple have the newest AGP without putting PCI-X on there also? Also, whats with the floppy? Apple stoped putting floppies in a long time ago. And also, wheres the clock speed? Theres not even a bus speed to look at. All we have to look at is that its on the .13 micron process and it is "very fast".

I'm sorry, but those specs dont seem like they'd fit.
Also, if you read the post ( i ran out of room, so I deleated the quote), it says that the guy had some expensive wine to drink, so thats why he is telling us this G5 info. So this is rele just drunken babel, but, ur right, it is quite comical, almost stupid comical.

For the most part, if you're going to use the term, "This came from SpyMac" and you aren't posting it JUST to point out how lame it is.. you can pretty much save the effort. Grab a copy of Mario Teaches Typing if you are just doing it for typing practice, but seriously... The closest SpyMac has come to being right was that few days when they posted nothing because someone was on vacation.

Why does every fool and his dog use that exact same line to try and add some authenticity to their drivel? Like saying "i work for apple" is going to make everyone believe them...... Oh well, i guess there are fools out there who might. Floppies are returning..... :rolleyes: :p What good does a 1.4MB disk do you nowadays? A blank cd is cheaper, and you get 700MB. Hey, whilst we're at it, let's go back to real floppy disks. You know, the 5 1/4" one's where you had to shut the door on the drive first, and the disks were actually floppy? :D :D

Hey, guys, I know this thing is obsurd. I didn't post it because I think it's real. I thought it was funny. The guy says in a following post that research has told Apple that the consumers want the floppy back. Personally, I wouldn't p!ss on a floppy if it was on fire but that's just me. Point is, it's clearly rubbish but I was in the mood for a G5 rumor and this hit the spot. Sorry everyone gets so upset.

While I agree in concept with what you say, it still sounds like a defense of SpyMac... and that is just never gonna fly with me, or most anyone with a memory undiminished by drugs or brain damage. We're talking about SPYMAC.. the people that swore up and down the iWalk was real.. and posted reasoned (in a fashion) arguments as to why it MUST be real. People who defend SpyMac remind me of people who still talk about how crop circles couldn't be man made. The term I prefer is "inbred, hillbilly, unteachable stupid."

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. "inbred" etc.. you're referring to REAL people -- yes think about it - real people, I'm sure with families, emotions etc run spymac. You can criticize SM for the iWalk as long as you want, but many others have gotten over it... please don't criticize those people (like me and my wife).

Don't criticize which people? The people who post stories like the iWalk and then stand there pounding on their chests defending the veracity of them, or the people who are inbred? I can see how belittling someone for being inbred is unfair, as they obviously had no control over it.. so I will apologize to anyone who took offense at the inbred comment. I won't apologize for belittling SpyMac. I don't care that they posted the iWalk story. I don't really even care that they repeated again and again how it was the gospel truth.. when I minded was that when it repeatedly was shown to be fake, and never materialized, they said in one breath how they got taken in by a fake (hey, it happens, no harm done) and then in the next they would say that it was STILL a real project and was just delayed. I am not talking about users comments in the forums, I mean real "news" posts on the main site.
