check this site out. its in japanese but is still very interesting. i admire people who have the courage not only to open their macs, but modify them. this guy has a black iMac to boot. check out how he puts a superdrive in the eMac. w00t.

it must be nice to be able to buy a new machine and immediately void the warranty without a thought of it... :rolleyes:

although it is cool looking...not worth the risk to me...

it definitely takes away from the "cuteness" factor...give it a harder look... ;)

Have any of you actually had a Flatpanel iMac? Man, I like my white MUUUCH better... the black looks just too... out of place... I just don't like it...

I personally havent owned one. My grandma bought one and left it at our house for about 3 weeks, so ya, i have used one

Yeah, all it needs is the multi-color logo and it could pass as a throwback from Apple 10 years ago. :D I always did like Apple's black protos/computers.
