missing thread(s)?

with a new job et al, i have not been here for the past month, and now see all the changes here. (coloured smilies ?!!)

but i wonder, have some threads been deleted? i specifically searched for the one started by our friend jayscheuerle about his marital problems and find its gone. why would a whole thread go missing? something to do with moving from the old to the new forums?

Yeah, the forums were upgraded to vBulletin 3.0 about 2-3 weeks ago, and the smilies went Crayola only in the past week or so. As for your missing thread, you could leave it alone and it'll come home wagging its tail behind it. Worked for Ms. Bo Peep if I remember correctly. ;)

i noticed an april desktop thread yesterday, and then the link to it wouldnt work and then it vanished all together, i hope im not on drugs and just dont know it :D

sometimes threads get moved, or archived if they're past a certain age (they tend to get sour and cheesy, like milk) or even "wastelanded" if they're crap.
