Anyone have any recommendations as to the best (and next best) web authoring apps for Mac OS9 as well as perhaps any for OS X and how they compare? Isn't this category of software for the Mac quite limited? Please clue me in as I would like to begin shopping around for the most "Mac-like" interface available.

Two best options...
For OS9:
GoLive 5
Dreamweaver 4
For OSX:
GoLive 6
Dreamweaver MX
All are very good! :D

BBEdit

and

Anybody who writes any form of code on a Mac MUST HAVE BBEdit. Period.

Perfectly illustrated there verbose101
BBEdit too... to help clear up the code.......
As cool as BBEdit is though......... GoLive and DW are easier to use if you don't have a solid understanding of code......

I quite like to do my layout using DW MX, then once done go in and add/tidy up the code in the HTML viewer, it's great!
