I'm still a newbie, but I think that the MacRumors has to be the best all-inclusive Mac forums on the web. If there are better, let me know. I'd be interested in checking them out.

That, plus there aren't to many jerks in this community(that I've seen, anyway).

Nope. There is none better! :D

I have visited some the maccentral forums, and the smilies look like road kill baked on a 90's grill. Why can't they have something simple

I haven't tried any other forums, but I did find this one place on the internet. It had lots of intelligent people, who could generate intelligent discussions. It also had lots of subjects to talk about. There was also a section in which you can pay to get not only insider information, but also a 16 ounce mug. And lots of the discussion and moderation is done by two guys, who have posted over 4000 times on the forums.

If I am not mistaken, that place is called Macrumors.com  Enjoy the forums. :)

(Man, why did I use so many smilies? :D)

They stand for different processor numbers. You know, like the ones we have in a G4 are 7445 and stuff. The more posts, the better proceessor....

I'm glad to see the newbies praising macrumors! :D

When I was lurking around for rumors on the upcoming PowerBook G4 (early last year) I stumbled upon this website...and I haven't left yet...he he he ;)

MacRumors is definitely the best. Not a question in my mind.

MacObserver has some interesting stuff on their forums, but its full of trolls and other evil creatures. MacCentral just sucks and has even more trolls if thats possible.

Our *ahem* collective rivalry with SpyMac has put me off to their forums, but they don't look all that great anyway.

Plus we have contests!! All thanks to Dukestreet, of course. And our gratious leader Arn is as benevolent a ruler as any that has ever been. And we get all of the good rumors and news out there, of course.

Dang straight this is the best.

I haven't formally welcomed you to MacRumors yet, Draft. Welcome!!!

Now all we need is Shaft and we'll have the trifecta.
