WOW! What a quiet day it has been so far in the forums.
I keep hitting 'View New Posts', but there's rarely anything coming up :(
I thought that with MWNY getting ever closer things would have been busier than ever!
...guess not...

From time to time it still airs yeah ;). It's always a pleasure to review an episode. Fraggles rule!

Well... as for the fraggles themselves I really don't have a big favourite (Gobo I guess. Or Wembley), but I was always fond of Junior - erm in Dutch 'Griezel', I guess Gorg in English - although he was one of the 'bad' guys. And off course the Trash Heap (or how do you call it). And Sprocket!

Actually... I love them all, it seems! ;)

The really annoying thing is there are loads of really cool bars just steps away from the front of where I work (Canary Wharf), let's see there's...Bar38, The Fine Line, All Bar One, HA's etc...sadly they're all just out of reach, I'd get my a$$ caned if the management smelt alchol on my breath.

As for the game 2moro, I will be getting into work early (like MANY others) to watch it before work.

trash heap is cool. did you see the one where trash heap got moved?

i like the doozers too. any episode with them is cool.

my favorites are the minstrel episodes, wembley's wonderful woopie water, and the land of carpets episode. those are great. o and the one where they capture the moon and the one where mokey convinces everyone to stop eating doozer towers.

don't you realize that "newbies != ignorance" means that being a new person does not imply ignorance?

in your haste to find someone new to attack as a jerk for being mean to new people, you missed the fact that he was saying it is not what new people say, it is what ignorant people say, whether new or not.

He is not saying what you think!
"!=" is the JavaScript (and maybe other languages too) representation for "not".
So he is saying:
"newbies not ignorance".
Now stop flaming each other you 2 and grow up.

lemon, the only thing i "have against you" is that you often attack people on here for attacking others and in turn making people not want to be around here...... now, that in itself is fine and i think it's good that you are standing up for them or whatever. it's just that knowing some of the people (like duke) decently well i know they don't attack anyone based on post count, just on the content of their messages.

anyhoo, looking at his message, he says that it's ignorance and stupidity and not newbies. and sort of relates to them by saying "we were all at 1 post at some time"... now, as for the newbies != ignorance. i very well could be at fault.....

but taking it in context and my vague memory of programming... i thought you could use != to say "not equal" to... which would say he doesn't equate newbies with ignorance. now, if i'm wrong, it could also mean "newbies ALWAYS = ignorant" which for some reason also comes to mind as a possible meaning of !=... so, if i'm wrong, and duke meant to put down new people, then i totally apologize and ask duke to not be so harsh..

however, if he did mean to kinda stand up for them as i suspect, then it's cool

as for attacking you based on the other thread. not at all, just that you often attack people that i know/think shouldn't be attacked for the reasons you attack (ie, acting like jerks towards new people)...

and as i said, your first post in said thread was quite good and made a very strong point.... i have nothing against you chief. peace

well you misunderstood. but don't assume that others would have made that mistake and thus hate duke now or something. the other things he said in the same post showed that he doesn't jump on people for being new....

i personally have only recently gotten into the private section and don't really post there much. and just because i might know someone on here more than another means nothing.... back to the mac was one of the first people i got into discussions with and he and i went back and forth on several political issues, including the pledge one... do not lump all the "high post count" people into one. and don't just assume that everyone takes everything as mean and spiteful...

because if you really think that, then you should take a look at some of your posts too. some of them are very harsh and could be offensive. sure, i've gotten into heated discussions and eventually talked it out.

people who attack newbies just for being new are dumb. but i don't see many of them...

alpha does sometimes. but even he requires some reason usually.... i just don't see the basis for your attacks is all..

anyhoo. peace out.
