I searched and came up with some good info, but not exactly what I was looking for so here's what I want to know...
Has anyone ever recorded tunes directly from and electronic drum kit to a Mac for mixing/editing/composing? I know you can import stuff via MIDI with keyboards so theoretically, electronic drums (certain MIDI enabled one, of course) would work to. I am looking to get into compiling some original tracks with some friends and seeing what comes about from it. Why I want to record from an actual drum kit is because I absolutely hate canned beats and loops and since I can thump tubs pretty well, it only makes sense to use my own stuff.
I am looking to get a higher-end Roland kit if that makes a difference to anyone.
