Just downloaded and registered...now I have a 4 minute and 13 second wait before it returns recommendations to me.

EDIT: That wait has turned into ten minutes + with no end in sight.

Ditto, its been dancing at 4 minutes 13 seconds for about 2 hours now.

Edit: make that a 9 hour estimate o_O I like the idea behind it but can't try it out unfortunately

It finally worked...and the results are ...interesting. I listen to, admittedly, and odd mix of music (From Metallica to Aphex Twin to RJD2 to Youngblood Brass Band to lots and lots of classical music). Maybe it is because not many other people have uploaded their song lists and ratings, but the recommendations that I recieved are so obscure that out of the first fifty, I've only heard of two artists.

Below are the first ten recommendations I recieved.

I'll have to check them out and expand my horizons. It looks like a good service, it just needs some speed and more users.

Welll...I got my results back..twice

The first time I had only filled out roughly half of my song ratings. I got back a wide range of stuff, some that I like, others not. It took about 20 hours for them to complete this list.

I decided that if I rated all my songs I would get back more accurate results..So I did..The new list only included 3 artists (took about 10 hours):
Tori Amos
Michael W. Smith
Third Day

I have to say, the last two are absolutely terrible...I would never listen to them..Tori is reasonably...Realllllly bad results overall. Not impressed one bit :mad:
