Since its aluminum, I'm sure some people are willing to pay atleast $400. It might even be worth more, not sure.

Are you still thinking about giving away those powerbooks? If so sign me up too. I have been needing a second computer.

Are we still talking about that 117Mhz PowerBook? If so, that most certainly would not be the second computer you are looking for. It's a great and fun little relic though.

Yeah, it will still run basic stuff like iTunes and Safari.

Wait, nevermind I thought it was one of the aluminum ones. I just looked it up.

Uhhhhh.... If I remember that machine doesn't even meet the basic system requirements for 10.1 (If I remember actually means no it will not ever run OS 10 ever) let alone anything that would run any version of iTunes of Safari if predates them by about 10 years. I should upload a picture of one you will see what I mean.

I just looked it up and saw that it doesn't run OS X. So nevermind, and I agree shipping would be a lot for what its worth.

Yeah, a powerbook g4 is probably more what you are looking for. Thats what I though we were talking about at first...

It would still be a sweet little machine though, if your into that sort of thing. I'd be interested if I wasn't broke or had room for anymore computers around here.

So, can you not just earn money and buy one?

Hell, I bought a Tibook when I was 12.

I have a strict personal price limit of 750 on a laptop, and I don't buy used or refurb. I got a nice Toshiba last year for 600... Guess I will stay a PC user then... :p

Ahh... yes my stock of MacBeggarBooks is running low, all I have left is a $100 off coupon on castration -- for small pets, but you never know.

Well, then, you're going to have to either change or not get a Mac.

Sort of strange isn't it, will gladly take a free used machine, but won't buy a used one even when you have the cash.

Especially when you have the cash for a new Mini, and are within $100 of a refurb MacBook or iMac direct from Apple.
