Windows Mobile VS eye-phone?

Hi guys, I'm new to all this so wondered if you could help. I am looking to upgrade my Nokia 5110 and need advice on my new phone.

I've heard about the Eye-phone and think it looks pretty cool. But I've heard it crashes a lot with some kind of blue screen? Is this correct?

Anyway all I need is a phone to open my Excel documents. How does this Eye-phone compare to Windows Mobile devices?

iPhone doesn't give a blue screen when it crashes, it either just locks up, closes the application or switches itself off completely.

If you buy one, you'll get used to it and it's just a shame there isn't a blue screen to tell us why the thing crashed!

I'll get used to the eye-phone crashing? doesn't sound good.
