I upgraded my wife's B&W G3 with a G4 processor. I was wondering if I could put the B&W processor (350 Mhz) into a beige G3 desktop? (I'm not sure if it's a rev. 1, 2, or 3 motherboard).
I didn't want to try it before learning if I might fry something inside my old Mac. I'm guessing I could just pop out the old ZIF, drop the new one in and all should be good, but I wanted to check here first.
