A) your title is way off
B) there is no "how-to"
C) this is a new report that something happened without saying how.
OP ... if you're going to post a current event at least have the decency to read the article. ;)

Apple iPod shuffle.
KALAMAZOO -- A Kalamazoo man was charged in federal court Wednesday in an alleged scheme to bilk Apple Inc. out of more than 9,000 iPod Shuffles that he then sold for profit.
A complaint filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Grand Rapids charges Nicholas Arthur Woodhams, 23, with mail fraud and money laundering.
The complaint alleges that between March 2006 and October 2007, Woodhams obtained the digital music devices, which are sold at retail for $79, by manipulating Apple's warranty return program and then selling the merchandise over the Internet at $49 a piece.
According to the complaint, Woodhams received approximately 9,075 iPod shuffles over the course of the scheme.
What can we learn from this?
The Kalamazoo news sucks donkey toes.

So, I would like to know the details of how this guy managed to pull this off. I can't even get Apple to send me a replacement mouse under warranty without a credit card.

haha
I graduated high school with this kid. I knew about his iPod repair business, which I never thought was fake or anything, but I had no idea he was stealing iPods (basically).
He's actually a friend of mine and a nice guy. Obviously not the brightest.
I had always wondered how a simple iPod repair business could afford him an Audi S4, crotch rocket, Ariel Atom 2, and a house (among other things).
Explains a lot. Sucks he'll probably be going to jail :\
I wonder if any of my other friends were involved/will get in trouble for helping.

If you like him you can make friends with his cellmate and donate some $'s monthly to his cellmate's jail store account.
If you hate him you can make friends with his cellmate and donate some $'s monthly cellmate's jail store account or simply send condoms.
