Install iLife from Mac Mini Restore DVD?

Is there a way I can put ilife 09 that came with my new Mac Mini on my old Mini?

When I use the installer it says "cannot be installed on this mac"

Is there a way to get to the intaller pkg?
I tried R clicking and looking at package contents, but no go

If he owns two computers, and is the only user of those two computers, why on earth would on pay for two licenses?

Because the license says that he can only install it on one.

I know that's what it says, but some of these "rules" are plain ridiculous..

Family Pack implies that your family will be using it too - on their computers. But if you are the only owner and user of two computers, then I see no reason why you shouldn't be allowed to install the same license on both machines.

I am buying a Mac Mini to encode video - had VisualHub still been around, would I heck buy another license.
