So I guess we're toying with it then... I need iWork, iLife... and what else?

Computer already comes with iLife. So iWork (if you prefer Apple over Microsoft) and what other productivity you might need.

I get this picture in my head that Q wants the OP to get that iWork bug that was floating around when it was first pirated...:D

It's hilarious because it's untrue...we're starting to see trojans pirated Apple software.

In terms of the actual pirating, this is my opinion for what it's worth (and since this is the internet, it's not worth much):

If all you're doing is school work/dicking around/etc and you wouldn't have paid for it in the first place, whatever. If you're in a production environment however and you're making money from anything produced through software, you should own what you're using, no questions asked.
