well after that pic of billy boy from a few weeks ago (the early promo microsoft shot) maybe bill is trying to relive his days of being a sex symbol?

I second that. I could've lived a better life if I had never seen that picture!

Anyone else notice what is sitting on his desk?
Thats right a Macintosh, an judging by the vintage of the PCs he is using, I'd say a Mac Classic. It is widly rumored that even to this day he has a Mac on his desk, as his primary computer, most likely today a PMG5.

If I were as rich as Bill Gates, I know I wouldn't want to be using Windows when I could afford a whole Virginia Tech G5 supercluster to put into my coat closet.

If I had been working on a lackluster operating system for 20+ years of my life, I would have a mac, too. He has to get tired of windows.

And here I thought this was going to be a thread about the movie.
I wonder why there isn't one... I thought Vol. 2 was excellent, personally.

I'm looking forward to Vol 2, comes out here on the 29th (or, more accurately, the second it appears on SuprNova :D)

i, too, greatly enjoyed volume 2. I felt like it took a moment for me to adjust to the stylistic difference between volume 1 and 2, but once i did it felt like the movie just flew by.
there were two spots where i jumped from sheer whoa factor.

***SPOILERS***
I loved the movie, but my brother didn't; he said he thought the "Woman On A Rampage" revenge theme that made the first volume so unique was corrupted by the conversation between Bill and The Bride, and throwing a daughter in the mix. I thought it was intensified simply because in spite of having a new understanding of and compassion for Bill, she still seeks and gets her revenge. But now I'm just rambling.
I did much enjoy the shot of David Carradine for his credit. ;)

Yeah, the huge stylistic differences between the first and second threw me off, too. They are both so different from each other, but as a whole the series is really awesome. I am looking forward to his new movie coming out, too. It looks like a cross between Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon meets The Matrix.

it was very distinct, but once i was past that i thought it was great, only because you could see how he managed to integrate the themes he wanted to honor from western and samurai movies so differently.
i did jump 80 freakin feet over the snake though. Knew something was up but not that...and the eyeball...shudder.
i heard there was supposed to be a vol 3 about vernita green's daughter...anyone know about that?

Yeah, my girlfriend was okay up to the scene where she yanked out the eye and stepped on it. I haven't heard about any volume three, and hopefully they won't do anything to ruin the perfectly solid two part film that is already a complete product.

I am pretty far annoyed by the part one. Here a quite good list of reasons why (I don't want to waste too much space here for that). (http://giaguara.diaryland.com/040420_43.html) So please feel free to explain why kill bill is supposed to be a good movie?
I think that psychotic girl who looks like a fashion victim after trinny and susannah's show is not in the top 1 billion sex symbols in this planet.
