java in NS6

I've downloaded and installed NS6, but whever I view a java applet it always gives me the broken plugin icon. when I click it to get the plugin, it doesnt list any plugin. moreover, on sun's site it says that mac os x already has a current version of java installed and no download should be necessary in order to make it work

and i missing something?

There is some kind of beta netscape java plugin out. go to www.versiontracker.com and do a search for netscape.
