Checking out the iBook page, they say that you can now get an iBook with a SuperDrive.

actually you can... it's a BTO option on 14" models on the online store...

I looked at the 1 Ghz models and didn't see the option, so I assumed that it wasn't there. Serves me right for not checking out the fastest one.
