1, You can't learn how to use applications like Logic 8 in a single forum post/thread. Its going to take you a while..
2, If you downloaded it as you say you did, then it's a pirate copy. Because you just don't download apps like Logic 8. So you'll get no help here im afraid.
3, "IF" you did buy it, you'd have a manual for it and wouldn't need to ask how it works here.
You are on your own with this one.

No, you only get a small booklet if you buy the program. the 1,000 page tome (that is very good buy the way) comes both on the disk in electronic form and is a free download from the Apple web site.
Direct answer to the OP's question: Logic 8 has a steep learning curve. Expect to spend some number of weeks reading and learning. The user manual (the PDF format manual is free from Apple.com) really is the best way to learn everything but it's hundreds of pages, read it cover to cover.
The $200 price for Logic express might seem high but only if you don't need the software. If you do need the software then you likey already have audio intefaces, mics, mic cables, monitor speakers and midi keyboard and so on that together cost about $1K minimum, so $199 is not a large fraction of the cost of a home project studio.
So just use "Express" and read the book and expect the process to takes weeks (at least.)

I don't think anyone here was being a "D" about your question. We shouldn't give help to someone with a known pirated copy of a program.
Also, Logic is very deep, and general help would be almost impossible to give in a forum like this. Specific questions about functions are much easier to handle.

Wow, you must be somewhat slow. If a forum doesn't have rules in place to stop discussion about warez then it will pretty quickly turn into a place that attracts the attention of those it affects. (Those who still do download illegally usually have a "don't ask, don't tell"-policy.)
Chances are you still haven't even maxed out the potential of Garageband. (Protip: audio units.)
