-It is not a fast computer
-It is not a powerful computer

Its only upside is it's affordable to minimum wage employees.

Does anyone else feel this way?

So according to you OP, everyone needs amazingly fast or powerful computer.

Have you heard of a netbook, and you realize that they cover the complete needs of probably at least 70% of the population?

Some people are adverse to getting rid of their perfectly good working flat panel and some simply don't like AIOs.

Because its an awesome little thing - teeny weeny but capable of doing pretty much everything normal users want. (I love mine).

I chose to get a mini because I love the compactness of it.

Ummm... This is a question you can answer yourself if you just thought about it.

It's good for a lot of uses that we spend most of our time on. And its not Powerful? Its plenty powerful, compared to what? A quad core, 280GTX, etc? A $1200+ computer over five times it size, heat, and energy usage?

You are right, compared to thats, its not powerful.

But, if you do Photoshop work, web browsing, watch movies/TV Shows, its amazingly well built for that. Even video games. It plays WoW at 1920x1080 at Medium to High settings (This is the 9400 with 4GB of Ram) without a problem.

Ever heard of Plex? (Http://www.plexapp.com). Easily one of the best, if not the best, media organizer out there. So you get the Mini, you put it on top of your home entertainment center, grab a 1TB External HD, and put all your favorite shows, movies, music, and can stream from Hulu, Netflix, etc. It handles tons of video formats, and is fast, reliable, and looks amazing.

I could go on and on. I also now have an iMac and a home built PC, both cost WAY more than the Mini, but have different uses.

I dunno man, I don't see why you WOULDN'T want one, unless you do a lot of HD video editing.

But then this isn't made for that.

Its pretty simple.

If you're suggesting the Mini is a suitable solution for running computer games (not 2D), I would question your oxygen intake.

I would question your thinking on why you seem to think that the Mac Mini is so "tragic"? 2.0 mac mini w 4gigs ram more than capable for a gaming/workspace machine, i think you should go and try one out and then tell us what you think. P.S find another computer of that power in a smaller box.

I never said that, at all. I have a 2009 Mini, 2.0GHz, 4GB Ram, 9400, etc. I said it plays WoW fine.

I SAID, ONLY THAT, it plays WoW fine. As far as reading comprehension goes, I suggest working on that. It also plays HL2 based game, just fine. It also plays CoD 4 (although with lower graphics settings), JUST FINE.

If you don't need it to be 1920x1200, Ultra Settings, 60 FPS, it does...

And this is ALL I am saying...

Try to follow...

JUST FRIGGIN FINE.

And for the price and size of it, I wouldn't expect otherwise.

Thanks for this. Next time if you wanted to actually ask a serious question then feel free but do so in a non trolling manner.
