Nice....

Actually Apple's site is certainly quite indicative of the ribbon strip navigation. Near the bottom of each page you'll find the same strip!

if they added tabs to finder, would it not stand that they would be the same as in safari 4? on top for continuity

The picture is of Path Finder. I have it open right now and it is identical.

Those aren't tabs, anyway. That's just the path.
