Is it just me or is there a rumor drought?

I just noticed that MWNY is less than three weeks away yet it seems that there hasn't been much conference-related news / rumors. I'm new to these forums but it did seem that things were much livelier prior to MWSF-- Am I totally off the mark?

hell, I wish I could forget that its a mere three weeks away.
Then maybe I could do something besides lurch around here waiting for a thin thread of possible rumors that will give a real clue or somethign to relate what is about to happen!

I can't stand it, I want a juicey full fledged Rumor to surface from a half way reliable source to grill with earnest questions born of sheer desperation!

There are too many conflicting ideas and thoughts on whats happening and its been so god damn quiet on the rumor mill!

Some one has to infiltrate the enemy camp.
Now I would send my beautiful girlfriend, she could milk the answers out of Lennon. But she has to go to work. :(

Whose the enemy? The people we need to get something from is Apple. Apple is not the enemy, apple's the solution!

The thing is, we want to get something from somewhere deep within apple, but apple isnt ready for us to know.

Its like a parent refusing to tell a kid what theyre getting for their birthday until their birthday...

hopefully the time will pass quickly, cause I already have dreams about when this new computer arrives at my apt. Boy does it run fast! *drool*

Well, I know that APPLE isnt the enemy but it feels like it when everything

wait a minute....why do the Demi-gods need to do anything?

Its not like we're anythign that other people arent...we're no more credable then the next guy. The only difference between a demi-god and a non-demi-god is $$$. that's it.

I dont see why people think there's more...ok, well, theres a little more...but there are plenty of people that have more inside info then we do...seriously..

Anyway, There has been some wild rumors flying around, but thats the problem....they're not facts, just people blabbing about stupid crap....PLUS, we got the whole 1.4 GHZ thing a while back and the XServe gives some insight into the new Towers...

Unless Apple is going to totally blow us away I dont expect too much, except for the speed bump, DDR, I hopefully will see a faster bus, more RAM capabilities (at least 2GB) and a new enclosure...its all an educated guess until the keynote, or time canada helping us out again ;)

ps its less then 3 weeks.....20 days. You can look at my sig...I'm doing a countdown ;)

It has been rather quiet lately, but this builds tension. To the newer MacRumors members it looks liek nothing good will happen, but to the long time member it builds the excitment! I would prefer not to have any really cool suprised ruined for me cause I am going to be at MWNY, and I would perfer to get shocked out of my socks there;) I will return with a movie of MWNY.

Yeah, me too....and I agree. I want to be shocked at the keynote. I just hope theres something shocking that will be there :rolleyes:
