So i worked with reason on my pc, and it worked great.
I just got a new macbook Pro and i'm trying to install my reason.dmg file.
I have toast v 6.0 but when ever i try to mount the dmg file toast tells me this.
"Couldn't complete the last command because of a Mac OS Error
Result code = 49152"

i have got the image of the reason disk on my desktop, i have no idea if that means its mounted or not though, because reason still asks me to insert the disk.

help me out if you can!

It's not pirated, its copied from the master, its an education version thats meant to be given out

Double-clicking a .dmg will mount it; it should show up in the Finder sidebar as an attached drive at that point. Open it and launch/copy the application or installer as required.

If the .dmg does not mount, the original download may have been faulty, leaving you with a corrupted .dmg. Download again.

There is the disk in the finder side bar and I'm pretty sure its mount, but the program is still telling me to insert i tried it on my friends Mac Pro tower and it worked fine.

i just bought a new macbook pro, im trying to install my copy of reason, when it asks for the disk i put it in but it still asks for it, i tried making a disk image file with this, it also didn't work, so i went into the Activity monitor to find out almost as soon as i launch the install the program doesn't respond.

Duff-Man says....there is no educational version that is "meant to be given out." They sell assorted licensing packages for education/students and those agreements should be followed, and somehow I think getting a copied disk from someone is a little bit suspect to say the least....oh yeah!
