Seriously, they release this HUGE update and a big part of it was MMS. But the ONLY U.S Carrier (AT&T) are going to be unable to use the MMS feature for several months. I mean i waited 2 years for this but still why release it when you can't even use it yet . . .

Yeah, they should keep MMS from all the other carriers in the world because you can't use it on AT&T... :rolleyes:

The more people that use iPhones, than the less of a problem this becomes. I take a picture, email it to a friend with an iPhone. Not only can he receive it the same way with just maybe 5-10 extra seconds to get to his mail and download (since MMS requires you to download as well), but that picture is stored in your email forever, you can download that same picture from your home if you access your email and go to sent mail. It's just a little more convenient, but I agree AT&T needs to get its act together.

Yes i email them too, but still they release this HUGE update and the ONLY U.S Carrier (AT&T) can't deal with 3/4 of this update. why would they release an update where 3/4 of their customers cant even benefit from it.

Because people on other carriers in the world can use it...

Dude, seriously... You need to learn to come down and READ before you start posting and spewing crap.


All you have to do is call an AT&T CSR and have them remove the MMS Opt Out off of your account and you'll have MMS. AT&T is just taking it's time to make it work for everyone - sucks, yes I know.

Main? In what way? In that it's in the US and therefore more important? :p

Because people on other carriers in the world can use it...

You need to remember that when you're in the US, nobody else matters*. ;)

I agree with you. They were like "MMS is coming", then they give the balltap that AT&T won't be able to support it for a while. Seriously...as you said...WTF?

I know AT&T eventually will allow access to MMS but I'm a little confused as to whether we will ever be allowed to tether or not?

I just asked an ATT customer serviced rep and she said that there is no block my the account, but MMS will be enabled on june 18th.

I have the GM build and there is no option to enable MMS on the phone and the ATT carrier.IPC used to enable MMS on beta 5 isnt even available to update the phone now.

Any ideas?

iPhone 3.0 is a great example of why Mac will never ever come close to Microsoft.
Mac might have some cool stuff, but the way they manage their company and business is just a great example of horse ****.

iphone 3.0 is less interesting than my toilet paper holder.
2.2.1 Jailbroken does what iphone 45.0.1 will never be able to do. If they used their brain a little and hired programmers who were home schooled instead of grabbing garbage from MIT they could make iPhone slightly better.
