iPhone 3GS pricing:
Eligable- 199/299
Early up- 399/499
Full- 599/699
For ELIGIBLE pricing: Everyone knows what it takes to be eligible for an upgrade, anywhere from 12-21 months into a contract depending on account standing and the amount of revenue your account brings in, no exact chart showing what it takes or how long exactly, but mainly based on revenue.
For EARLY upgrade pricing: You have to of had your existing iPhone 3G for at least SIX MONTHS before they are going to let you get early pricing and take another hit on you buying another iPhone, the end.
For FULL price: well, you know.
Listen up because im only going to post this once, i cant speak for the 3GS yet, but i am sure it is just as expensive.... At&t, as well as other companies around the world, pays $574 for EACH iPhone 3G 8GB and $674 for EACH iPhone 3G 16GB, ive seen the invoice sheets dont try and argue with me.
Dont think you are getting ripped off because they are charging you $25 over invoice price when you purchase at FULL cost.
And if you complain about the EARLY upgrade pricing, remember they are still taking more of a hit on that than just about every other phone they sell!!
stop whining :D
