What a bunch of garbage, so Apple shouldn't update the products, that is what is wrong with the internet, it has given people the opportunity to spew crap.

And...?
The iPhone has already revolutionized the phone, this upgrade was mainly to add the features that people have requested and give it a speed bump.
Is that really a bad thing?
If a company tries to revolutionize an industry every year they'll never be able to polish their products. We'd constantly be getting products that have great concepts that aren't executed incredibly well.

Personally, I think this quote, from the original article, beautifully sums up the situation .
It appears that many of these features have been available on PDA phones for years. But the folks at Apple have been experts on taking features available on previous products, repackaging them in Apple’s own fashion, and making people believe that Apple is so revolutionary and the first to offer these features.

And when Palm made 3rd party multitasking and presented it as something that hasn't been done before. This is something that has been available on other phones for years. Heck even the local news was saying the Pre was the only phone doing this? Why didn't we hear the outrage over that?
