A friend gave me a copy of the dev release of snow leopard and I really like it but my wifi isn't working so it kinda sucks.
Basically I can connect to a network, and it then says that network is giving no internet connect, when I know it is because I am connect now via ethernet.
Does anybody have a solution?

Used a supported version of OS X and not a Developer beta?

I would say report your bug to Apple.

Oh wait, you're using what is essentially a pirated version of SL.

Uninstall and wait until September?

Thanks for the helpful comments guys, don't worry I fixed it by clearing off the locations and starting a fresh, thanks though for the input

btw, the friend is a registered developer and I am one of his testers, please be less offensive next time

Okay, so the friend is a registered developer, and it's a developer beta that Apple clearly doesn't want in the hands of everyone. What kind of response did you expect?

One thing I really like about the StackOverflow site is that when Joel Spoelsky designed it, he wanted people to answer the questions that were asked, regardless of whether or not there was a different way to go about it. The idea being that perhaps someone is doing something the way they are for a specific reason. It's too bad to see all these condescending replies to the OP's question when we could have actually been helpful to someone else who runs into this issue by trying to offer support.

So then he should take his question there? My point is that it's a developer beta, which he really shouldn't have as he's not a developer. Then, he comes to a public forum where there may or may not be people using that same beta and asks for help. So, help was given: get off the beta.

Limitations apply. Since you are "a friend", no you cannot have it.

According to Apple's terms (http://developer.apple.com/membership/pdf/terms.pdf):

Transfer Of Membership Benefits And Materials. Except as otherwise prohibited herein, the
benefits and materials, including but not limited to seed keys, seed DVDs, technical support incidents,
hardware discounts, and pre-release software (collectively “ADC Materials”), provided to you as an ADC
program member may be transferred only to employees and contractors working for the same entity as
you who have an existing ADC membership. You agree that you will not otherwise transfer, publish,
copy, or disseminate such ADC Materials. Please refer to our “How To Transfer Assets” FAQ at
developer.apple.com/faq/transfer.html for more information on the authorized methods of transferring
ADC Materials.

Being a friend does not qualify. You might want to actually read the terms before assuming what they mean.
