about the speed of safari 4? We all know that Chrome is the world fastest browser. They should be ashamed.

I'm sorry that you can't read statistics. Safari has been benched and tested (Acid3) and shown to be fastest. Please don't troll our forum.

No Safari 4 is faster. Hence why it benches faster.

Feel free to run the benchmark yourself then compare it to the scores on the Apple website http://www2.webkit.org/perf/sunspider-0.9/sunspider.html

Each browser has it's performance strengths in specific browser components, and benchmarks generally don't cover everything. Sometimes Safari is faster at something, but other times Firefox or Chrome is. Sometimes even IE finds itself to be the fastest at something. Seriously.

only decent benchmark is from sunspider, and that only test js speed.

when all browsers going jit, the absolute js speed benchmark numbers are into the area that it produce no difference for users' bear eyes.

only HTML benchmark is from iBench, which was bought buy apple, this type of in-house benchmark with no transparency, only apple fanboys can believe it.

why apple lie? well, if you call presenting "selected information" as lie, I guess thats a way of looking at it. The reason? marketing! Most people doesn't know that much about browser benchmarks, they just take whatever thrown at them and take that as true and important.
