do you think apple will fix the SATA problem in near future.

I dont wanna wait too much, yet i dont wanna be late and them release one in few months after i buy mine..

as ya'll prolly read my posts... I work with music and lots of audio files.. and considering 15" but learninga bout the SATA makes me reconsider this machine.. also the L2 cache.

i am considering the older 15" 2.8ghz with 4gb ( but i want the expandibility to 8gb)

but SATA.. would they fix it soon?
would the 1.5 vs 3 make diff?

I'm missing why it's a "problem". There aren't any drives which can come close to 1.5Gbps SATA, let alone 3.0.

I don't want to be rude... but do we really need a new thread on this?
Can't we use the existing threads?

The question isn't new and everyone seems to be posting about it in the appropriate thread.

Some have said it's a hardware limitation, others say it's software and can be fixed with a firmware update. I don't think anyone knows for sure at this point. But I still don't even view it as a "problem", I mean one month ago I was using an iBook G4 as my primary computer. I really don't think it's going to make a difference for my needs. Buy it and enjoy! :D :apple:
