Hey everybody,

Following the instructions on the iTools website (http://help.apple.com/itoolshelp/1/help/idisk/pgs2/dskFmSet22.htm), I installed my iDisk on Windows today, as a Web Folder, just because I was curious...

And I have to say... it wasn't easy to install (long live Mac for that), but once I installed it, it was amazingly fast!!! It was much, much, much faster than I ever saw on my Mac!

Hey Apple! I always thought we had a bad connection to iDisk here, but now I see that speed _is_ possible!

What the... ?

k.

(Never mind the signature now...)

What version of OS X are you using???

Under versions previous to 10.1.5 (or maybe 10.1.4, I can't remember) I found iDisk very slow. Under the latest OS releases, it is much, much faster.

Try updating to the latest.

I am running OSX.1.5 on my Mac and WinXP Pro on my peecee, and I have also found that accessing my iDisk by my peecee is quite alot quicker than through the Mac.

Nope. Still slower on the Jaguar Preview. Fingers Crossed for the definitive version.
