Koalas, Nature's Stoners?

Is it just me or do Koalas act stoned all the time. Imagine eating a bag of cough drops and how you would act.

I've got to say that almost every thread I've been involved with this last few weeks has been really serious. Almost to the point where people were getting really, really ticked.

I feel a backlash coming. Only silly goofy threads from now on.:D

How did I miss this thread for so long? I'll lend my "expertise" in this particular field to the discussion...

I learned on a recent cisit to Australia that asurace is right. The Koala is actually a nasty little creature, save it's predeliction for eucalyptas leaves. They really do serve to get the little guys stoned. As a result, they act all stoned and seem cuddly to the millions of folks who see them at the zoo.

As for the bongaliciousness of this thread, RIGHT ON. I'm not going to lie to you guys, I'm under the influence right now. As a matter of fact, I'm rather heavily "medicated" for most of the day. But hey, it's summer and I'm a student. At least that's what I keep telling myself... ;)

Now as for that offering, neut, I think we need to get together... :)

You are all right to get medicated and ton in on any subect. Myself, i gave up the medication for cost and a clearer head, but , i encourage anyone who can do the day to day, and do it better than most, on said "medication" the moe the marrier.

That's fair enough, but as a student who doesn't 'smoke' I get really annoyed by the persistent dope smell that tends to permeate every room in student accommodation, whether you like it or not.

The thing is, if someone took a crap and you could smell it in the next room along, that would be understood to be antisocial, but stoners often don't see that parallel.

Yeah, I hear what you're saying. When I lived on campus I did my best to keep things on the down low. I never did anything in the dorms that might be offensive to others, as that would have made me a bad neighbor and a fairly inconsiderate member of the community. Now that I have my own apartment, however, it's a whole different story. :)

But you're right on in your distaste for the lack of consideration that others often provide. You are entitled to your own private space free of any distractions. Smoking in the dorms is just as inconsiderate as, say, playing a stereo too loud in the middle of the night during finals week. Bad form altogether. :)
