Mobile Installation 3.0?

Does anyone know if MI 2.2.1 will still work for 3.0? if not, when this will come out and where we can get it?

From what i've read 2.2.1 MI will not work with 3.0. They were still working on finishing it up to release it in time for quickpwn/pwnage tool. I havent heard anymore about it. Hopefully someone else can chime in with more information about it.

edited: mobileinstallation is usually patched very soon after any jailbreak release.

I have just upgraded to JB 3.0 with PwnTool, I am working on a work-around to the mobile installation patch. I'll let you know my results in a little while.

Now that I'm running 3.0, the public release, it's fair to say that the M.I. file exists. I wonder if you use the beta 5 insalld file and rename it it will work? I feel like it wont but I could try...

Yes, I did use the beta 5. In fact, I'm playing Sonic right now from my previous downloaded .ipa file ;) I checked some other apps and no prob whatsoever.

There is a cydia package called installd that works on 3.0 7A341. Just remember to reboot after install then install any app before syncing.

Do what you have written but in the end leaves: Did not find repository.
the indicated repository coul not be found. This could be because you are trying to add a legacy installer repository ( these are not supported). Also, this interface.........
