Hey
I recently bought a 250 gb WD SATA hard drive for my g5 and i am wondering does anyone own or seen a external enclosure that works with serial ata and can connect via firewire or usb, as they say there are plenty of ide ones available but i have been hard pressed to find a sata ide one
thanks

I'm pretty sure that it's not available at this point. I've heard this from several people. Check around though...could be wrong.

I found the following:

Valuedisk (http://www.valuedisk.com/vdsahdkit.asp)
This uses a SATA cable to connect it to your computer, the internal interface is SATA.

BUSlink 3 in 1 Combo (http://www.buslink.com/index.cgi?view_product=yes&product_sku=677891123745) This uses SATA, usb 2.0, or firewire to connect to your computer. I'm not sure if the internal interface is ide or sata.

Both can be found at newegg.com
