Errr. Wrong.

I went through a lot of those links, and they are mostly either pay sites (the teen festival one) or they are never posted on (My TLC).

I am smart enough to use Google, B&W Man, come on.

Does anyone here in Macrumors have any experience with any film makers sites?

Hey Hey Hey!

I found one, it's called Indietalk.com. Looks promising.

Here's another question, does anyone here own a Sony DCR-HC20 camera? If so, do you like it? I am seriously considering buying one, I need a DV camera of my own, I can't use my mom's all my life. :p

you can check out http://mytlc.com/forums/forum-view?forum_id=4223 .
That is where I found a link on how to make a poor-mans steady cam.

Sure, here's a gold-mine. I use to frequent this site when I did have an interest in filmmaking. Tons of great info.

By the way, I have a Canon XL-1 video camera for sale if you're interested. It's NTSC format and in mint condition. Willing to offer a good deal on this terrific camera.

I'd be interested, but that's a top-of-the-line $4000.00 camera. It would have to be quite a deal, since I am planning of buying the Sony for about $380.

Thank you, though. :)
