Hey guys/gals! Just wanted to ask something. I've used Discreet's 3ds Max for some time...yuck! I decided to switch mac! I'm just wondering...which is better for full length 3D films:
Maya
Lightwave
Universe
Other?
Thank you very much for any help you can offer.
Rick.

Cinema 4D ARE good too:p
maybe not for a quite long movie, but is easy to learn and the interface have some similarities with maya ,so u can jump from it, by the way in www.architosh.com theres a 3D firm -LuminetIK who uses both (Maya and LightWave)
heres the link:

on the subject of 3D software...
what do all you 3D people think about XSI Experience demo software? i just filled out the request form for it. i was just wondering if people thought it was worth it? i read somewhere that you can't save. hopefully it doesn't have the watermarks like Maya PLE.
