nice review! you have sold me lol. Is there any way that you can put your wifes white iphone into the clear solo case? I would like to see how that looks.
Are you selling these or something? (just reading what Ferris23 wrote...)

He sold the case to me and it should be here tomorrow so I don't think he can provide pics unless he already took some before he sent it.

My Iphone is black and I plan to take pics so it should give you some idea of how transparent the white phone will look.

Yeah!! I am going to pick up this combo! I love my solo now but i miss my belt clip, so this is perfect. thanks for the review.

Is this duet combo new or old, I can't find it in too many places? and why in the hell does iskin not sell the clear solo alone? I think they would sell like a million or more.

The Duet is available to resellers through the distribution chain. I am putting together a list of interested parties for the iSkin Duet, and I will order them into my web store if there is enough interest on here for a source for them. The price is $29.99.

shipped out thursday. i work a 12:30 to 10pm shift so if you PM me via youtube like you have theres no way for me to reply to those messages via my iphone. its hard to keep up with PMs coming from all these forums as well as all my subscribers on youtube, just trust that it went out and it will be pristine. im not gonna be such a public figure on youtube and have giveaways then turn around and rip someone off.

Hey I see that you didn't use the mirror screen protector in your video, would you like me to take that off your hands? I loved mine even though it made viewing my phone outside impossible, I loved the mirror effect but my iPhone needed replaced and I had to ditch the mirror screen protector :( PM me back or something

Oh man way to ruin it for me...I didn't even notice it being slightly pink until you said so...I already ordered this for my white iphone. It probably is the way the pics were taken(crosses fingers) I mean you can barely see the checkered/diamond stuff on the back...

Mine arrived today and I can't wait to see it, but you can only buy it with the clip in a combo called the Iskin Duet. Not sure if they will sell it Solo. ;)

If I don't like it I will sell it to someone on here....

As it is I just use a best skins ever now and a pouch and I am really adjusting to the sexy feel of the Iphone, not sure I even want to go back to a case now.

I didnt mind the circles so much, i have a red solo fx. The circles themselves are kind of dark. The knockoff circles are lighter in appearence because i think they use more "frosting".

I will probably grab a duet.

Every single case made out of this material has a clear version with some type of pattern. I suspect perfectly clear design without a pattern would cause watermarks. Had the black version of the solo been semi-transparent.. i'd be done on my quest.

I can post a lot more pics later but I'm in a hurry to get to the gym so here are some quick pics of it on the black.

It looks pretty cool in person, pictures are hard to capture because the design captures the lighting and makes it look different than it does in person. The lighting against the black in pics tends to make it less clear than it really is. Though it does look like a frosted black. The pattern is there, it's actually kind of nice but I could take it or leave it really. What's funny is they tease you with a totally clear part, that which covers the bezel is not textured at all.

So far I am happy with it, ideally it would be totally clear but it still looks pretty nice.

I am convinced that a semi-transparent black and white (no pattern) case has to be manufactured.

Iskin listen to me !!! you make those 2 types of solos and i'll only take 15%

the all star case would be if they could be 100% clear around the logo area. I think a 100% clear would produce watermarks.

I'm going to try the black solo knockoff and see if that gives me the look i want. If not then i will jump on the duet package deal.

The best way to describe it is a frosted black, in some lighting it is more frosted than in other, I think that has to do with the pattern and how it refracts the light.

I really like it, if they make an all clear which I doubt they will, I'd be all over that as well. They could probably just make a frosted all black with the textured. We should email them.

I would think that if they made a totally clear one that the watermarking would be terrible. My thought is that the design actually prevents this from happening. Very nice looking. :D

You would think that .. but i believe the frosted coating on the inside prevents that. My solo fx has no texture just the circle images and i have no watermarks.

Wow I just walked into one of those phone stores that sells every type of phone for every provider. I think it was called Booth or something. Anyways they had 8 copies of the iskin Duet there for $34 something Canadian. I was shocked to see it there. One because I fricken bought it from the states for $30 American (including shipping) and Two the last place I thought I would find it would be in Canada seeing how we usually get screwed over for cool small things like this. So anyways moral of the story, go check some stores out before you buy online. It might save you some money

Rogers Plus stores in canada also carry the duet for 39$ (it was 34$ last week... they decided to increase the price)

Comparing the clear one to the black iskins, the clear one seems lighter and less grippy.... i really like it on the white i phone, the design on the back is practically clear :)

So a few months later, is anyone having a problem with this case having a little bit of a yellowish tinge? I've tried a few different things to clean it with no luck. It's still there.
