OMG! It never ends!

OMG what never ends? The posts that make little sense or the number of applications available.

If it's like Amazon's app then it may be pretty cool, though my tendency for actually shopping online at Target is ... well, I never really do.

Wow. Thought it was clearly evident. Why would you have to apply to shop online?
Job application.

Wow. Thought it was clearly evident.

It wasn't... not at all
Application = software program in Mac terminology

Job application.

Job applications online are nothing new
Many places use them

WTF really?

Clearly if I was talking about shopping and you were talking about a job application that is online and has been for 4+ years (I know this for fact as it pertains to Target stores) then your post was very unclear.

Honestly, if you cannot articulate whatever has you all annoyed here then I am not exactly surprised that you're just now learning you can apply for a job online.

FYI: Home Depot (just to name another) is the same but they require registration with a SSN prior to getting to the application. This goes for all jobs at all levels.

No duh.

Maybe you're not thinking enough or maybe I'm hoping that you're not really attempting to apply for a job.

The word is your.

This thread has failsauce written all over it.

WOW, really? I never said anything about it being new. I said it took forever and some things are implied. Sorry they just are. You, and yer buddy macdawg, are clearly looking to nit pick something to death. You've found it. Well done. You can spend the rest of your day being as incredulous as you like. ;)

Oh.... I get it now...

You were filling out an online application for a job and it took forever ("never ends")

Not trying to nit-pick
It is just that your original post was totally ambiguous
Really

Entitled to your opinion
But your original post was not clear at all
And I have no axe to grind with you

I honestly did not understand what you were saying till now
You may think you were clear and it was obvious, but it was not

Hold up there buddy.

You can pull a word such as incredulous out of your rear but you can't replace "yer" with "your"?

Honestly, it's not nitpicking when your original post (that is the first post) is completely confusing.

You came in and mentioned something about an application on a website dedicated to computers (and phones as it may be). Why would we not automatically think you're talking about an application that you can use not an application that you would fill out.

I am going to fix the OP for you ok?

OMG! It never ends! We are so tied to technology that yer can actually apply for jobs online! Yer don't even have to leave yer house, just crawl out of bed naked or whatever and start applying for jobs! I wonder if most companies are actually going this route.

Discuss.

The responses would be:

Yeah, you've been able to apply for jobs online for quite sometime.

OMG isn't this like Career Builder or Monster.com?

Well I guess this is just the age that we're in as pounding the pavement is now a lost art.

And of course my response would have been ...
Old news is better than no news and the word is your not yer. I'd still stick that in there because I'm a total twunt but I've earned my twuntness.

Something tells me you're really impressed with me, it's just hard to admit. I'm ok with that.

It'll end, eventually. I had to go through the same thing when I applied at Target.

So glad to be out of that hellhole

Oh I was referring to my first post where I corrected him ... but all the same.
There is probably only one thing I do know and that is the difference between your and you're. I was the lucky teacher of a 60 year old lady at work who had incredible difficulty with you're/your, buy/by/bye, to/two/too, and lord knows what else. It is awesome to know someone can hired as a writer without being able to actually write. :D God Bless America!
