HALO multiplayer problems.

I have recently bought HALO, and finished it fairly easily. I now want to get online and play against real people, but when it connects to gamespy and shows all the different servers, i am unable to connect to them. I will click on one, it makes this dumb *thunk* sound like its doing something, but nothing happens! Its so annoying....

can anyone help me out to get playing HALO online?
