Congratulations Arn!

MacRumors is closing in on 100,000 posts. Just over 200 to go.

Is that an accurate count, or did it start from zero when you uploaded the new bulletin board?

Either way, that's quite a milestone!

Damn, Classic. I was planning to put up a thread like this! Well, I guess it's first come, first serve. Congratulations, greedy! :D

But to be more on topic, this site has certainly grown. I remember when there were only some 70000 posts, and that was just a few months ago. People really seem to becoming more active on the forums, along with an abundance of new members (some of them trolls with black hair, the same as some of the dell peecees). And I have noticed this since the forums became a community, rather than a strict rumor site. People have gotten to know each other, and people probably will continue to do this. If there was a way we could reach ALL the Mac users out there we would have probably a million posts in no time at all (maybe a year or two). :cool:

Just remember, though, some of these posts didn't count, or something, which is why this 100000th post was actually taken when the forums had 99300 posts or something.

well for the sake of not being flamed and for the sanity of everyone else around here...just don't start padding your posting so u can achieve the avatar...

there's been plenty of that to go on in the past....and it never goes down easy... ;)

Hey eye. What ever happened to your big lead? Dukestreet is right behind you now, and with 16.99 posts per day (wow) vs. your 8.26, he will pass you within a month or so...

Apparently u don't remember the threads that were flying around like leaves during a hurricane when the duke passed me up about a month ago?

I've actually gotten back ahead, only because duke cannot spend as much time online as before. No worries....post count is irrelevent...and I'm not in competition... ;)
