When should we expect official 3.1 release?

How this (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=746032) thread could not have answered your question puzzles me? Or at least a place where the discussion has started...I realize that that discussion is about a beta release, but one would think one precedes the other and that one could ask there?

For the record AppleNewYork never PM'd me to tell me the problems that he/she was having regarding my "spamming." (oh the irony.) I did however PM the OP, maybe that will be productive. I do recall reporting one of the post the OP posted, regarding an iPod Touch it was then locked. Mind you, this is one of the nine threads the OP has started that has been locked or put in the wasteland, and the OP has only started 31. There are some comments lower on that sorta mock some of AppleNewYork's other threads, to each his own.

I still think my post was relevant and AppleNewYork never explained why it wasn't or why the post above could not be made in the other thread.

If there is ever a response I will gladly response to it, whether it comes later on or via PM (because AppleNewYork thinks thats the way to do it)

That may help. Me personally I'm thinking mid August. I'm still on the first beta and there are a few, usually, before the real deal arrives. Given each beta lasts roughly 2 weeks.. Mid august sounds probable.

If you want to play that game, let me point out rule #13 under Minor Problems:13. Failing to search. If you have a question, it may already have been asked and answered in the forums. If you have an issue to discuss, there may already be a discussion about it. Set a good example by searching for existing threads before starting a new thread. When other people (especially new members) fail to search and start new threads on old topics, don't scold them or make them feel unwelcome. The best way to be helpful is by posting a link to a previous relevant thread.

It would have to be on the new phone he's going to buy along with the new mac. We must not assume he's going to do anything improper, since.it's obvious we've misunderstood him.
