Just signed up to .mac and discovered that one of the features could actually be really useful. At work we have PCs but at home I run a PB 15". Until now if I've need to take documents home that are too large to email I've had to burn them to a disc.
Now, I'm assuming that having made changes at home I can just save this on iDisc and then download this on my PC at work, thus saving a disc. Question can I do this the other way round - save the document from my PC to iDisk and download it at home - if so, how
Thanks
Zim

.mac's iDisk uses a standard protocol called WebDAV, which is supported on the PC. In fact, Apple publishes a little tool that allows you to do exactly what you want.
A quick Google search (you *did* try Google, right? ;) ) turned up the following:

Take a look at these two articles on the Apple website:

Hope that helps.

These are the methods I use to connect to my iDisk when I'm working from a Windows machine, and they work pretty well (transfers on Windows are actually FASTER than they are on Mac OS X 10.3.4).

iDisk works great.
For those who don't have .Mac, here's my other favorite alternative to burning discs or using Zip drives:
http://www.iomega.com/na/products/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=18014083&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=3037523&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=63191&bmUID=1086719619139
It's a USB Flash drive, but tinier and faster than the ones they were selling a year ago.
Cheers,
