Virus question

I found a trojan horse on my mac. It's an .exe file that I tried to absent-mindedly open. I have a Windows partition set-up through Bootcamp and its a read-only NTSF partition. The virus can't write itself over there can it? I scanned my Windows side and no viruses were detected. Hope it's okay.

Since while logged into Mac OS X you can't run a .exe you should have nothing to worry about.
