On the new 15 inch powerbooks they have all three ports (well, include LCD as a port) separate on the unit so I see no reason why this wouldn't work.

That is to say:
Monitor 1 = the lcd screen
Monitor 2 = An external Monitor
Monitor 3 = A television monitor via the S-Video Out.
My question is: Using FCP, or Avid even, Can I use all of these screens at once? will it split the video memory 3 ways? Thanks for the input.
I am curious to know as well, anyone tried this?

no you cant the card is dual head not triple head
to do the you need a pc card ghraphics card like this one http://www.villagetronic.com/

such a product dose not exist the one i shown is the best and only card.
i would recommend this one
you can run two moniters from your radeon 9700 and thats it for more you have to get annothe card and that one is the only one i am awear of
If anyone knows anything to the contary please tell me
