New 'iPhone' later this year

So...my cousin says that there's going to be a new 'iPhone' by the end of this year. I don't mean an update to the current iPhone, but a different phone made by Apple. I PERSONALLY, don't believe him, but he does have insider information status. He knew about 4-5 months prior to Apple announcing the iPhone that there was going to be a phone by Apple. He has friends that work at Corporate.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Well it makes sense that your friend knew 4-5 months before June that their would be a new iPhone...all of us did. It's Apple's annual iPhone upgrade month...

I highly doubt that a new iPhone will be coming out later this year, like another user said, I'll believe it when I see it.

The original OP is not looking for an answer, they are imparting an "insider fact" :rolleyes: from their very reliable cousin who works at corporate and apparently gets information 4 to 5 months ahead of us. You've not heard of his "cousin"?

Secondly the link you provided does not provide answers, just speculation. An answer is something definitive, their is nothing definitive in that thread.

Not that I don't believe you, but Apple releasing a phone was pretty much a fact almost 1 year before it was out.
