View Full Version : What do Mac Females think about Mac Males?

Just curious. Is your significant other a Mac User? Do you only date Mac Male users? Does the size of his Mac matter? Did any Apple product ever make you interested in a Mac guy? What should Mac guys know about Mac gals? Would you divorce your husband if he ever switched to PC? Would you have an affair with Steve Jobs? Etc. Etc. Hope I'm not offending any Mac women out there. These are just some questions to come to my mind.

yes, no, no, no, nothing at all, hell no (i use pc too), steve jobs is an ugly prick.
if i had a choice, i'd go for avie (brains) or jonathan (style), maybe woz (funny) cuz Steve isnt the greatest
besides Steve is already married, has a few kids, sort of decent looking wife, etc.
Bleh, all the hot male mac users are gay :( or theyre too old.

I hate when people think mac users are gay. We are not. Some of us could but, not all of us. I think that influenced apple to get rid of the rainbow apple because people think we are hippies. I have no problems against hippies.

No no, she said all *hot* mac users are gay. Which is pretty much true, at least in my case ;)
edit: jinx flowbee

seriously tho. i'm not a female but will answer part of it anyway. none of the guys i dated were Mac users until the current one, and 3.5 years later we're still going strong. I think it's clear what the problem had been.

interestingly enough one of them switched not long after we broke up. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, he must have missed seeing my iMac every day :)

steve jobs... not hot, not sexy, complete egomaniac, and socially abrasive. But I bet when you get in the RDF, he looks like brad pitt...

yup i said *hot* not *all*, but i should have meant a lot of the maccies i am interested in are gay :(
take for example adam attarian, the guy who got fired from his job at one of the apple stores in NC (i think it was southpoint) for some screenshots on his website that were posted on pbzone and other miscellaneous sites
he is gay :( sigh.

Wait a minute, how can a real Mac guy be too old? It's not possible. The Mac keeps us forever young. Cut us some slack.

I am definitely a bi-OS male as I have a Sony VAIO desktop and a Mac iBook....I don't what this means though, but I'm starting to get concerned...

As far as what I look for in a prospective mate (female for the record), it doesn't really matter which way they 'swing' in the computer world, however, I don't trust ANYONE that is completely one way or the other...So many Mac cult elitists...but there also equally badgering PC proponents...everything in life needs a balance--it's all about equilibrium.

more likely to be bi-curious
most people who are really bi wont mind, would say male/female (perceived gender) without a preference for one over another.

its hard to find any mac gals who are bi or lesbian :( not like i'm going to cheat on my boyfriend, but...seriously...

Well, according to the previous posts, that would qualify you as being gay. (Just an FYI... :D )

EDIT: Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Of my closest female friends, 6 of them are Bi in a non-experimental way... As for their PC vs. Mac use, I'd say they swing both ways... :)

another solution: vacation.

So it seems that 'Mac' and 'Windows' are the mainstream preferences..I mean orientations, that is...So I guess something like 'BeOS' or 'Mandrake Linux' would be a fettish....oh, and don't forget 'red hat linux'!!

AND THEN we get to how you like your monitors...LCDs or CRTs???!!! Natural/Ergonomic Keyboards? WILL IT NEVER END?!

It's amazing the type of stigma the mac user has nowadays. I mean, look at the stereotype everyone is using. Aren't we, as mac users, suppose to be more unique, more free thinkers, disassociated from main stream society? I, for one, am not gay. But I did go to an art school, I do have good taste (again, in my own opinion), and me and my powerbook go everywhere together.

Mac users should be labeled unique, instread of "ultrahot gay people" and "Apple fanboys (and girls)"

eh, but then again... what do I know....

Wow, one would think tat OS choice wouldn't be high on the list of datable attributes. I know I don't pop that question until well into the relationship, at which time I really don't care, since I'm probably getting nookie by then.

Nothing against "ultrahot gay people," and "Apple fanboys," but I agree, dedicated Mac users should see as a culture set apart. No shame in the game. Mac culture is a beautiful thing. And I don't say that about too many material things in my life.

Yes. No. No. Yes. Computer talk is hot. No. NO!!! Steve Jobs, while being brilliant, is definitely not attractive.

I have a lowly iMac and a PC laptop (for gaming and work), and my boyfriend has a Powerbook G4. He uses a Linux box as well, and that's fine with me. I dig Macs because they're easy to use and everything always seems to work well. Mac chicks seem to be a lot more tech-saavy and laid-back. (and many more fun hypenated adjectives) I bought him his 15GB iPod and a ton of accessories for it for our one year anniversary, and he freaked out.

I guess a way to a Mac man's heart is through his hard drive.. ;)

i don't think i could be in a close relationship with someone who does not see the evil in the PC (micosoft) marketplace/userbase and uses a PC by choice.

my last two relationships (over the past 8+ years) have been with Mac users. i would love to start seeing another mac user. :) 90% of my current life is through my mac; so, it might get a little complicated if they couldn't understand my love affair with my PB. :p
