Come on, AT&T would never give you MMS WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW FIRST. I'm good friends with the CEO! I don't have MMS. :rolleyes:

You know, the only way you can get Text Messages is with service on your iPhone, and by your Screen shot, it looks that you do not have any service. In fact, it says No Service. That brings me to my question

How the hell did you get said message? Was it magic?

Has anyone ever noticed that forum members 68000 and above and demi-gods/demi-godesses/contributors never get these MMS messages or make these ridiculous posts about having MMS magically? That invariably it's a newbie? :rolleyes:

Could this be discrimination? :)

That's because the people with higher post counts are in the minority, and none of us are that "lucky" to get MMS before everyone else. :p

I called AT&T, and they told me that 68000+ members will be the last to have MMS activated.

in the end, it still works for me and soon maybe others will get it :) and the other person on this site that posted the same msg wasnt the only person.

Screencap your Settings >> General >> About about page showing the carrier file number, that's all I ask.

It works magicly like that without a carrier update. And Im sure AT&T picked you to be the first and only one that got MMS officially functioning on the iphone.

lol.. well first part was about redeeming a itunes card.. 2nd part was we were playing nascar 09 on xbox and someone wrecked me on purpose bc hes a little d bag

and btw.. i just got my white 32gb iphone yesterday.. i had a 16gb and then i wanted a 32gb so i had to pre-order it, it came with MMS working out of the box.. idc if you guys believe it or not but im simply stating what happen.. the phone was purchased from bestbuy.

Swirly MMS icon on your springboard and 5.0 carrier file (should have realized it with the Internet Tethering on). Now we know for a fact you don't have MMS working legitimately through AT&T.

I'm not on AT&T so I wouldnt know, but I guess it's the hacked carrier file that people HAVE been able to use to send MMS. It's not the legitimate AT&T carrier file, you don't have "official" MMS.

I never said anything about "official" just saying I got the same txt that other person has but after I got it, my MMS works.
