Look at this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qbWjaW25mQ

Basically if you don't want to watch it, it's a 48 second clip of a iphone 3G S video clip, where this guy falls into a pool, and gets his new iphone 3G S all wet!!!!! for some 9 seconds or so....

So I ask, is this real? Is it possible to get your iphone wet, and it still works?,
has this happen to you? Has this happen to your iphone or ipod touch? (just wondering)

(and sorry if this is repeated thread) (title credit goes to UNSPOKEN DEMISE 8/21/09)

This is like 2 months old. Did you really think no one else ever posted it here?

It's technically possible if you are very lucky, but the warranty will be void as the water sensors will change colour.

Looks like this guy was lucky!, but it was like a 9 second soak!

I know a guy who's phone was in orange juice for a few minutes, he thought it was broken so he gave it to me for free, so I put a new battery in and guess what? It worked 100% fine! You'd be surprised what they can survive!

As much as I'd love to buy something for a random stranger on a forum, my money is tied up in iPhones and eMacs. Sorry!

But for the low low price of 5$+ shipping you can bring wonder to a young man's heart.
