Hi guys, I have the aluminium macbook 13.3", It has 2GB of RAM, has 2.0GHz intelcore2duo, 320gb HDD (5200rpm). Everything is in fully working order, would come with Adobe master collection CS4, iWork 09, iLife 09, MS Office 08, and many other pieces of software (like toast, stuffit, etc.) Mac OS 10.5.8 Leopard. Comes in box, with manuals, all CD's and magsafe charger. Keys are still 'matte' (not shiny from fingers) and everything is in almost pristene condition. Only thing is, there is very small dent on the top lid (where apple logo is) at about the same place as the F4 key is. What do you think I could get for this machine? I was hoping about £700, would that be too high? If so, what can I get? Many thanks!!

Have you tried to search or completed listings on eBay yet? That usually gives you a pretty good idea about how much similarly speced MacBooks go.
I sold my 2 year old white MacBook with 250gb hdd and 3gb memory for £550 on eBay recently, so seeing as though yours is much newer and comes with a whole lot of software, I'd say that you should easily get 700 for yours...

Thanks Fabian! Saying I should get 700 easily makes me feel much better. I'm actually going to try and sell it, and then get the new 13.3" macbook pro with SD card slot and more juicy GHz!
Its getting to the time when my dad will buy me a laptop for school, so If I sell it and get some money from him, I might be able to get a 15" macbook pro from ebay! I always thought the dinky little 13" screen would be great, but given I use photoshop and dreamweaver almost on a daily basis, 13" is just too small!

Glad I could help!
I'm not sure if I'd be willing to buy a computer on eBay, something always tells me it's a bad idea. I just tend to think that there is a reason why people are selling their old stuff, and it's usually not "I've upgraded so selling my old one" - even if that's what they say it is. (I don't mean to say anything was wrong with mine when I sold it...)
I think you'd be much better/safer off getting a refurb macbook if you don't want to pay the full price. They're sold by apple on their website and are usually the latest generation as well.
