Mac OS X Snow leopard

It will not burn on my macbook for some reason. Is there a way that I can burn it on a windows vista laptop then use the dvd to install snow leopard.

I really appreciate any replies.

When you say burn, do you mean copy or install?

it should already be on a dvd unless you pirated a dmg, in which case we will NOT help

I have the dmg file. I burnt it on a windows vista laptop but the dvd comes up as unrecognizable in MAC.
