hi, was this a new update to the applestore?? or has the emac always been available w/ dvd/cd-rw's??
i thought i remembered there was only 2 options for an emac... maybe im just a bit off today since no new powermacs were released today...:D :D

yep they updated the the G4 emac line :D (even tho steve didnt mention bout this ;)), so i might think bout getting an emac if the low end model of PMac is too expensive
but the g3 imac line has been demoted for hardware (2 highest end models), now instead of cd burners, its just cd rom, it sux, but they added more ram for the 2 high end models

At least they leave you the option of dumping the overpriced Apple memory and ordering it with 128MB.
