Following up from this thread: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=70530
I recently got the $15 fan with blue lighting in it. But the kit came with zero installation directions whatsoever. That does not go down well in my book. I did a search on MacRumors and a general WWW search engine, to no avail. So how the hell do you install it? Hector, if you're reading this, how did you install it?

it's a bit tricky but not as hard as it looks you can get away with only useing 2 screws installing it from the optical drive side

the fan annoyed me at 12v so i reduced it to 7v by soldering the connectors between a yellow and red on a molex y connector that sits between my optical drive and my hard drive.

you'll get all the expert advice you need if you head on over to
http://www.cubeowner.com/
there's a FAQ and a great community forums.
There are several ways to tap the voltage that you need, and you can get ideas for more cube case mods by browsing their casemod gallery (http://cubeowner.com/gallery/casemods). Mine is the backlit apple.

Man. I hate it when companies don't provide directions for their products, much less, crap directions.
It's working now, though. I had to get some help, obviously.
